With 5,123 booths out of the total 1,62,486 booths having completed 100% digitization of Special Intensive Revision ( SIR) in Uttar Pradesh, the total digitization in the state reached 61 % on Saturday.
Yesterday, the total digitization in the state was 56% and within a day, 5 % enumeration forms were digitised.
State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Navdeep Rinwa stated here that the digitization of over 9.41 crore (61%) enumeration forms has been completed in the state so far.
He stated that 162,486 BLOs, over 16,000 supervisors, over 2,000 AEROs, 403 EROs, and 75 District Election Officers have been appointed for the SIR process. Furthermore, support is being received from 441,582 Booth Level Agents (BLAs) appointed by political parties, as well as personnel from urban local bodies and voluntary organizations.
The CEO said that voters whose names appear in more than one voter list may have received enumeration forms at multiple addresses. Voters should note that they should fill out enumeration forms only at their usual place of residence, affix their latest photograph, and provide them to the BLO as soon as possible.
Rinwa stated that the SIR work is progressing rapidly. So far, 100% of the work has been completed at 5,123 booths. He stated that, based on progress, the distributed counting forms will be collected by the deadline of December 4.
District Election Officers have been directed to identify eligible voters and ensure they are included in the voter list. With only five days remaining, the work should be expedited and the collection and digitization completed. Additional skilled personnel should be deployed at booths with slow progress, he stressed.
