Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, without naming the Samajwadi Party government, said that previously there was a system of “One District, One Mafia,” but now we have established “One District, One Medical College.”

CM Yogi made this comment after inaugurating the Yatharth Hospital here on Saturday.

He stated that before 2017, there were only 17 medical colleges in the state, but now 81 such colleges are in operation.

“The state government will provide assistance to any private medical college. The central government has taken significant steps in the medical field. Previously, there was only one AIIMS. During the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, six AIIMS were established, and now, under the Modi government, 23 are operating across the country. In Uttar Pradesh, AIIMS operates in Rae Bareli and Gorakhpur,” he said.

CM Yogi said, “The double-engine government has provided health insurance coverage to everyone. There are 5.60 lakh Golden Cards, and this number will soon reach 10 crore. Additionally, Rs 1,300 crore has been allocated for healthcare from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The state government is always ready to ensure proper treatment for every person in the state.”

Earlier, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was welcomed at the airport and proceeded to Hotel Amar, where he attended a meeting with BJP and RSS officials.

At the RSS meeting, strategies for the 2027 assembly elections were discussed. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the nearly one-and-a-half-hour meeting. No outsiders were allowed in.
