Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, retorting to Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav’s remark on the Ayodhya Ram Mandir offering controversy, accused him of appeasement and vote bank politics. He said the SP and the Congress lack the courage to question the misconduct in madrasas.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Pathak cited the investigation into the case by an SIT and said that the government is committed to ensuring that that no one is spared not spare. Anyone found guilty will be dealt with stringently.

Praising the action taken by the Ram Temple Trust, he stressed that the government is fully committed to raising the flag of Sanatan culture to even higher levels.

In a scathing attack on Opposition parties, he said that the Samajwadi Party, Congress, and other parties question the Ram Temple offerings but never the donations or misconduct of Muslim institutions, mosques, or madrasas, including the Babri Masjid. Many madrasas have become dens of misconduct. However, they will not utter a word because they are engaged in appeasement and vote bank politics.

The Deputy CM stated that maintaining law and order is the government’s priority. The Ram Temple Trust has filed an FIR, and it is the responsibility of the government to ensure that action is taken according to the law.
