UP Board exams 2019: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will conduct board exams 2019 from February 7 for Class 10 and Class 12 students. The exam is scheduled to get over in 16 days for this academic session.

News agency ANI reported this quoting Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma. Students should, however, note that there has been no official announcement made by the minister as of now.

For this session, the exams were started on February 6 for Class 10 as well as Class 12.

More than 29 lakh students had appeared for the class 12 board exams this year and almost 36 lakh students appeared for the class 10 board exams this year, as per an NDTV report.

1. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is the apex school-level educational body that looks after the development, promotion, and regulation of school education in the state.

2. The board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council and the board conducted its first examination in 1923.

3. Currently, the board has the tag of Asia’s largest board in terms of the number of students
