Two people were killed and six workers injured when a lorry carrying a concrete mixer overturned at Payyavoor in Kerala’s Kannur district.
The accident occurred on Saturday evening at Mootharikulam, Payyavoor in the Kannur district while the workers were returning after completing concrete work for a house.
The two deceased were workers from other states. They were immediately rushed to the hospital but died on the way. The names of the deceased who have not yet been confirmed. Their bodies have been shifted to the Pariyaram medical college hospital, Kannur.
The injured were admitted to a private hospital in Kannur. It is reported that their injuries are not serious.
