The President added that infrastructure in tribal areas has been expanded rapidly, with new residential schools and scholarship programmes helping integrate tribal youth into the mainstream.
She emphasised that skill development and self-employment schemes have given a new impetus to traditional crafts, handicrafts, and entrepreneurship.
President Murmu expressed happiness that these efforts have increased livelihood opportunities while also strengthening self-confidence and self-reliance among tribal people.
“In our journey towards a developed India, we must remember that true progress lies in the development of every section of society,” she said.
