BJP National President Nitin Nabin, on his first visit to Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, sounded the election bugle for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly.

Nitin Nabin, along with UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and UP BJP chief Pankaj Chaudhary, prayed at Banke Bihari temple and listened to PM’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

The ruling BJP has gone on poll mode in UP, as yesterday Union Home Minister Amit Shah kicked off the campaign in Lucknow, and today it was BJP president Nitin Nabin from the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi.

New BJP president Nitin Nabin, addressing the party workers, said , “Brace yourselves, 2027 is coming. There are forces in the country that believe in dividing and creating division in the nation. Such forces only come alive during elections. We must fight them too.”

He said, “People are roaming around who have torn apart the Constitution, who have ignored Uttar Pradesh’s development and only promoted anarchists. We have not forgotten that the UP government used to be run at gunpoint, but today the UP government is run by the people’s votes.”

Nitin Nabin went to the extent of saying, without taking any names, that, “Some people don’t like the way UP is progressing on the path of development. It’s time to teach a lesson to those who consider politics a time pass, who come when elections come and then go abroad.”

“Earlier, there were anarchic governments in UP. We eradicated crime from its roots,” he said while adding that “I want to congratulate Yogi ji for the work being done in Uttar Pradesh’s development. Today, from Varanasi to Ayodhya and Mathura, work is being done with heritage at the forefront. As such, every Sanatani is proud of the BJP government. BJP governments are advancing development by prioritising Sanatan traditions.”

Recalling his earlier visit to Mathura, Nitin Nabin said, “When we first came here for the convention with our Yuva Morcha colleagues, we felt unsure about what might happen. There were governments of lawlessness here, but our governments ended them. We worked to eradicate crime. Today, whether in UP, Bihar, or any other state in North India, the BJP government is living up to the public’s trust.”

He claimed that,”Uttar Pradesh has become the best state in the country. We worked here before, but UP was struggling. I thank Yogiji, who is leading Uttar Pradesh, for his immense leadership and has struggled a lot to make UP the best.”

Nitin Nabin visited Mathura-Vrindavan for the first time after becoming the BJP’s national president. Workers welcomed him enthusiastically with drums and trumpets while a bulldozer showered flowers.

Nabin waved from the stage and accepted everyone’s greetings with folded hands.

He listened to PM Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat” with BJP workers at Akshaya Patra on Chhatikara Road in Vrindavan and also offered prayers at the Banke Bihari Temple.

Earlier, CM Adityanath welcomed Nitin Nabin. He appealed to party workers to work hand in hand with him for the BJP’s victory. Along with Nitin Nabin, UP BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary and several other party leaders were also present.
