Speaking to media persons in Alappuzha, Shobha Surendran revealed that EP Jayarajan held discussions with her and other party leaders on joining the BJP.
Firebrand BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Monday said it was time that India declared war against Pakistan and split it into four parts after the deaths of four security personnel in cross border shelling.
“I have been saying this for long, India should get ready to declare war against Pakistan and split it into four parts,” Swamy told reporters outside Parliament House.
“There’s a limit to everything and Pakistan has crossed all boundaries. Even China is fed up of Pakistan sponsored terrorism and has warned the country,” Swamy added.

An Army captain and three other soldiers were killed in Pakistan shelling in the Poonch and BG sectors on Sunday while another soldier and two children were seriously injured.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) parliamentarian had earlier called for the division of Pakistan after the treatment meted out to the mother and wife of Kulbhushan Jadhav, on death row in Pakistan over alleged espionage.
The Rajya Sabha member had back then said India should begin “serious homework” for the war against Pakistan.
He added that splitting Pakistan was the only “permanent solution” and remedy in dealing with the “envious and vengeful” country.
