The 95th annual festival of Karshni Gopal Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the famous Ramanreti Ashram in Mahavan.

Renowned saints from across the country participated in this religious Mahakumbh, guiding devotees on the path of devotion and spirituality. During the festival, the yoga camp led by Baba Ramdev and discourses by learned saints mesmerised the devotees.

While conducting the yoga camp at the festival, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev elaborated on the importance of yoga asanas. He said yoga not only makes the body healthy but also provides mental peace. Ramdev described Karshni Gurusharanand Maharaj as the greatest man in the tradition of Sanatan culture.

The yoga guru took a strong stance while expressing his views on contemporary issues. Regarding West Bengal, he clearly stated, “India is the country of Lord Ram, Krishna, and Hanuman; it is not the country of Babar. Those who talk about Babar will be destroyed.”

Regarding the disrespect shown to Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda in Prayagraj, he advised saints to stay away from such controversies and avoid quarrelling among themselves.

Maluk Peethadheeshwar Swami Rajendra Das Maharaj extolled the glory of Ramanreti, calling it the heaven of Kaliyuga. He said that Swami Gyan Das Maharaj had received darshan of Raman Bihari here. Any devotee who rolls in the dust here and contemplates on Thakurji crosses the ocean of life.

Famous storyteller Ramesh Bhai Ojha, while throwing light on ‘Navda Bhakti’, said that these nine types of devotion described in Ramcharitmanas and Shrimad Bhagwat pave the way for human welfare.

Many other saints, including Geeta Manishi Swami Gyananand Maharaj, also gave sermons in the programme. On this occasion, a large number of distinguished citizens and devotees, including Karshni Sumedhanand, Karshni Brijanand, Swami Vishwavesharanand, Karshni Govindanand, Karshni Hardevanand, Karshni Shyam Sundar Maharaj, Karshni Nagendra Maharaj and Acharya Ashok Joshi, were present.
