Indian Air Force (IAF) Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla on Thursday, June 25, came out with his memoir ‘The Second Orbit’. The launch event took place in the national capital and was attended by Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh.
Also, present on the occasion were Sanjay Kumar, Secretary of School Education, Ministry of Education, and Seema Jain, Member (Finance), Department of Space.
Speaking at the event, the Chief of Air Staff said, “It is a great honour to be here today to share the journey of Shubhanshu Shukla…It will prove to be a great motivator for the coming generation…”

Talking about the memoir, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla called it a “very different experience.”
“When I started writing this book, I had never imagined that it would become such a big project. The intent was very clear from the beginning- how to share and communicate my experiences with everyone,” he added.
