Jammu and Kashmir: Migrant labourer from Bihar shot dead by terrorists in Anantnag
The victim, whom the police identified as Raju Sah of Bihar, succumbed to injuries during treatment.
Terrorists on Saturday shot dead a Kashmiri woman special police officer (SPO) in the Shopian district of South Kashmir. This is the first time that a woman SPO has been targeted by terrorists.
The SPO, identified as Khushboo Jan, was shot at her house in the Vehil village of Shopian in the afternoon.
Senior superintendent of police, Sandeep Kumar, confirmed the killing of the woman SPO and said that the police force stands by her family.

The terrorists barged into her house and fired a volley of at her. Khushboo was hit by several bullets and was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, the Army, the CRPF and special operations group (SOG) of J-K police cordoned off the area and launched search for terrorists involved in killing of the SPO.
Large number of residents of the village turned up at Khushboo’s house as soon as the news about her killing spread.
The incident has come a day after killing of an Army deserter by terrorists.
Terrorists of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), Hizbul Mujahedeen (HM) and other terror outfits had recently issued a diktat asking SPOs to resign from their jobs.
So far, no separatist leader has condemned killing of the woman SPO.
