The legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar would visit Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, around 240 km from here on 2 May and would lay the foundation of cricket museum.

Tendulkar would reach Dharamshala on 1 May and he would lay the foundation stone of the museum at the scenic stadium of Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) at Dharamshala on 2 May.

HPCA spokesperson Sanjay Sharma said that the museum would sport the statues of Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble. Besides this, the museum would showcase the history of Indian cricket and replica trophies of various events that India had won over the years in India and across the world. He would also give tips to the budding cricketers at the academy after laying the foundation stone of the museum.

Academy.
