KCR intervenes to drop UAPA charges against rights activists
The move came in the wake of outrage of outrage over registration of cases against human rights activist Prof Haragopal and 151 others under the the draconian law.
TSLPRB 2018: The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board is scheduled to conduct the Telangana TSLPRB PMT/PET (Physical Measurement Tests and Physical Efficiency Test) in December. While the board is yet to release an official statement on the official website www.tslprb.in, according to reports the TSLPRB 2018 examination is expected to take place on December 17, 2018.
The TSLPRB examination 2018 will take place across different venues in Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, Sangareddy, Adilabad and Nizamabad. The confirmed venue list will be released after the official notification.
In 2018, TSLPRB plans to fill a total of 16925 vacancies for different posts at 1217 Stipendiary Cadet Trainees (SCT), Sub Inspector of Police Posts (Civil – Men & Women), 29 posts at SCT SI IT and C, 26 posts at SCT ASI FPB, 16925 posts at SCT PCs Civil, SCT PCs Technical (OT &C PTO Drivers and PTO Mechanics).

Total number of candidates to appear for different posts out of 3.77 lakh:
Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT): 110635, SCT SI IT and C: 4684, SCT ASI FPB: 3276, SCT PCs Civil and equivalent: 228865, SCT PCs IT and C: 14981, DVY PCs Driver in PTO: 13458, SCT PCs Mechanics in PTO: 1871.
Candidates who have successfully passed the part – I examination need to submit the application form for Part – II examination till November 18 at tslprb.in.
