A few hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi accepted cricketer Virat Kohli’s fitness challenge, Bihar’s Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav dared the PM to accept his challenge.

Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tejashwi took to Twitter and urged the Prime Minister to accept the challenge of providing jobs to youth, relief to farmers, promise of no violence against them to Dalits and minorities.

“While we have nothing against accepting fitness challenge from  @imVkohli . I urge you to accept the challenge to provide jobs to young, relief to farmers, promise of no violence against dalits & minorities. Would you accept my challenge @narendramodi Sir?” he tweeted.

The challenge from the RJD leader came in the wake of a chain fitness challenge being thrown on social media by political leaders and celebrities. It all started with Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore posting a video of his exercise regime and nominating Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, cricketer Virat Kohli and shuttler Saina Nehwal for taking ahead the challenge.

Earlier on Thursday, PM Modi accepted the fitness challenge posed to him by Virat Kohli as he promised to share his own exercise regime video soon. Earlier, he had accepted Rathore’s challenge too.

Kohli, who enjoys the image of a fitness enthusiast, had earlier accepted Rathore’s challenge as he took to Twitter and shared his own video. He nominated his wife and actor Anushka Sharma and cricketer MS Dhoni, besides the Prime Minister, to take the challenge ahead.

“I have accepted the #FitnessChallenge by @ra_THORe sir. Now I would like to challenge my wife @AnushkaSharma , our PM @narendramodi ji and @msdhoni Bhai for the same. 😀 #HumFitTohIndiaFit #ComeOutAndPlay,” he tweeted.

Tejashwi had attacked PM Modi on Wednesday also. Referring to the fuel price hike, he wrote on Facebook: “Under the impressive captaincy of Modi ji, prices of petrol and diesel are close to hitting centuries in the oil game. Tears in the eyes of viewers, silence in the stadium.”
