Swachh Survekshan 2024-25: Noida honoured with Super Swachhata League award


In a remarkable achievement, Noida has been conferred the prestigious ‘Super Swachhata League Award’ at the Swachh Survekshan Awards 2024-25, securing the top position among Indian cities with a population between 3 and 10 lakh.
The award was presented by the  President of India Droupadi Murmu, at a grand ceremony held in New Delhi. The award was received by Arvind Sharma, UP Minister of Urban Development, and Lokesh M, CEO of Noida Authority, in recognition of the city’s outstanding performance in urban cleanliness and sanitation.
Officials highlighted that Noida’s journey to this accolade involved significant efforts over the past year, ranging from solid waste management reforms, regular sanitation drives in all wards, community engagement, and digital tracking of cleanliness operations. Awareness campaigns encouraged public participation, making cleanliness a shared responsibility.

This recognition stands as a collective triumph, underscoring the power of coordinated governance, proactive civic administration, and an inspired citizenry. Noida’s success story now serves as a model for cities across India striving to build a cleaner, greener, and more livable urban future.
