Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, state BJP president Mahendra Nath Pandey, senior party leaders like Union Minister Kalraj Mishra and Vinay Katiyar were also present .Singh said the BJP is different from other parties as it is a purely political party. “Rajniti (politics) word has lost its meaning now. The purpose of our Rajniti is not to grab power but we do politics to build the country,”  he added.

He said the BJP would not let India break up at any cost. “There is a need for social harmony to bring the society together. BJP would not break the society to come to power. The purpose of our politics is to build the country,” stated Singh. The home minister said the country has been on a high trajectory under Prime Minister Narendra  Modi which is not acceptable to the Congress and other political parties. “Where else would the PM take a broom in his hands and sweep the roads to give a message of cleanliness to the people,” he asked. In a dig at Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Singh said how can the president of a party who does not know about the limitations of Parliament become prime minister of the country.

“As soon as we came to power the PM said that this government is dedicated to the poor of the country and the government has worked in the direction. By the year 2022 there would be no poor in the country under BJP rule,” Sing asserted . The home minister also claimed that terrorism is being controlled under BJP rule.   He appreciated the work of Yogi Adityanath and gave him full marks for creating a conducive environment in the state by infusing fear in criminals. Adityanath briefed the gathering about the achievements of the state government . He said the state got an investment of Rs 60 crore by July 31. “For investment good governance and security were requisites which were ensured,” he said claiming that the government  has managed to control anarchy in the state which has encouraged investment .

” We also took pledge to end political disparity in the state on Ambedkar Jayanti and ensured that electricity should be supplied to people across the state without any disparity as done in the past governments rule,” said the CM adding that now 24 hour power supply is ensured at district headquarters across the state .

Adityanath said in three years 67000 houses were sanctioned under PM Awas Yojna.  “in just one year we had sanctioned 8.85 lakh houses in rural areas and more than 4 lakh in urban areas. Also 1.22 crore toilets have been made by us while just 10 lakh toilets were completed by my predecessor,” said the CM adding that his government has distributed free 50 lakh power connections to poor and 90 lakh gas connections under the Ujwala yojana.  He said loans of 86 lakh farmers of the state had been waived .
