The city of Lord Krishna is completely immersed in the hues of devotion these days as 2025 comes to an end.

A tremendous influx of devotees has descended upon the world-famous Thakur Banke Bihari Temple, overwhelming the city’s infrastructure. The administration’s claims are proving inadequate in the face of this massive gathering of faith, as thousands of devotees have completely choked the main streets and lanes of Vrindavan.

The lanes of Vrindavan, once considered peaceful and serene, are now overflowing with people. The narrow paths leading to the Banke Bihari Temple are completely jammed due to the large number of devotees. The situation is such that even walking has become difficult. Residents and devotees are struggling for hours to navigate through the streets. The situation is most critical on Jugal Jodi, Vidyapeeth Marg, and VIP Road.

Despite the biting cold and foggy conditions, there is no decrease in the enthusiasm of the devotees. They are standing in queues for hours, chanting “Banke Bihari Lal ki Jai” and “Radhe-Radhe.”

The devotees say that no matter how crowded it is or how choked the streets are, all fatigue and troubles disappear the moment they catch a glimpse of Banke Bihari. Devotees appear eager to earn merit by visiting this holy city.

Given the excessive crowd pressure, the police administration is facing considerable challenges. Barricades have been erected at major intersections to control the crowd, but the stream of devotees is overcoming every obstacle and moving towards the temple. The administration has appealed to the devotees to maintain patience and follow safety regulations.

Every corner of Vrindavan is resonating with the chants of ‘Radhe-Radhe’ today, reflecting the unwavering faith of the people in Banke Bihari.
