Stalin admitted to Hospital for ‘giddiness’

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and ruling DMK president MK Stalin was on Monday admitted to a private corporate hospital in Chennai after he complained of giddiness during his routine morning walk.

In its bulletin, Apollo Hospitals at Greams Road, where he was admitted to, said, “Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru MK Stalin had mild giddiness during his routine morning walk. He has been admitted … for evaluation of his symptoms and the necessary diagnostic tests are being done.”

A team of doctors are attending to the chief minister.

He was scheduled to participate in a function at the Kapaleeshwar Arts College at Kolathur, his constituency in north Chennai. Following the Chief Minister’s hospitalisation, his engagements were cancelled for the day.
