Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Friday hit back on BJP at the inclusion of the migration issue in the report submitted by the judicial commission to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding the Sambhal violence case.
Akhilesh Yadav said that spreading the ‘migration propaganda’ by the BJP and its allies in UP is actually the biggest failure of the 9-year-old BJP government.
Posting on his social media account X here on Friday, Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav attacked the 9-year-old BJP government and said that at the mental level, this means that the BJP government could not instill confidence in the people.
“At the same time, at the social level, the BJP government could not bring harmony in the society due to its communal politics of hatred. Along with this, at the economic level, the BJP government could not provide employment to the people. The BJP government gave more work to the people of Gujarat in business and contracts than the people of UP,” he commented.
He said therefore, people had to leave for other states in search of work in despair. He said that even at the level of policy and planning, the skill mapping of the BJP government did not yield any results and people were forced to go out in search of livelihood. At the demographic level, this means that the BJP government could not bring about balanced development in UP, he added.
Akhilesh Yadav said that at the national level, the BJP government could not provide a positive environment to the people, nor could it give any assurance to those hoping for improvement in the standard of living, nor could it create international level educational institutes. Due to all these reasons, there has been a historic migration of Indians abroad in the last 11 years.
Akhilesh Yadav said that the truth is that those who spread the lie of migration are neither well-wishers of UP nor the people of the state.
“Such false propaganda by the BJP deeply hurts the image of UP and investors do not come to invest,” he said.
He said that the residents of UP should understand who is trying to tarnish the image of UP and at whose behest this is being done. Is it that someone is pulling the tracks from under each other by spreading the misconception of ‘double engine’.
The truth is that double engines prove to be good only when they move in one direction and not when they are face to face. He said that if BJP goes, the image of UP will improve.
It is worth noting that regarding the Sambhal report, BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi had said that the investigation report of the judicial commission shows how Hindus must have been forced to migrate from there due to religious persecution.
