The Sourav Ganguly Foundation, in collaboration with ISKCON, has extended humanitarian support to flood and landslide-affected communities across North Bengal.

As part of the initiative, ISKCON Siliguri is providing freshly-cooked meals to over 2,500 families every day. “At this moment, it is our duty to stand beside them and extend every possible support,” said Sourav Ganguly, the founder of the foundation and former captain of the Indian Cricket team.

Expressing gratitude, Naam Krishna Das, ISKCON Eastern India’s communication director, thanked him for his generosity and timely assistance to those in distress.

Meanwhile, several other voluntary organisations — including the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its affiliates ABVP and Uttarbanga Seva Bharati — have also been distributing relief materials and essential supplies among affected families in Siliguri, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, and even parts of the Darjeeling Hills.
