Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the latter continued his campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the poll-bound state.

In a series of tweets, the Karnataka CM once again raised a host of questions ranging from the state flag to the Reddy brothers.

While welcoming him to Ballari (also known as Bellary), the CM said PM Modi should not forget to mention the Reddy brothers’ “record”.

“As you arrive in Bellary, we look forward to hear your commentary on corruption. Don’t forget to mention Reddy’s record scam score of 35,000 cr & still not out,” said Siddaramaiah.

“With star players like Yeddy-Reddy, your score in Karnataka will be well short of 60,” he claimed referring to seats.

Responding to PM Modi’s charge that the Congress insults the armed forces and has not even shown respect for Field Marshal KM Cariappa, Siddaramaiah said that the Field Marshal is “a revered son of Karnataka”

“We hold him in high esteem. Instead of doing politics in his name Mr. Modi should list 5 things he has done for Karnataka. I ask questions & he diverts attention to history, cloths, pronounciations! I will ask again,” the Karnataka CM said.

“WHEN 1 are you giving approval to Kannada flag? 2 will you change the rules for Banking recruitment & make Kannada knowledge compulsory for banking jobs in Karnataka. 3 will you intervene in Mahadayi issue? 4 will you do justice to Karnataka & revise our SDRF allocation?” he wrote on Twitter.

“WHEN 5 will stop disinvestment of Bengaluru’s jewel BEML 6 will rectify the injustice done to Bengaluru by taking away Rafael from HAL,” he continued.

“The list is long. But for you to address these issues you need to care for our state,” Siddaramaiah concluded, adding, “But you are in Karnataka just to win at all costs.”

The Karnataka CM has been giving back the BJP in equal measure on Twitter previously countering the PM’s “2+1” jibe with his own question on the PM’s decision to contest from Varanasi and Vadodara.
