Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, through its Construction Committee President Nripendra Mishra, announced plans to formally request the Supreme Court of India to return the historical evidence and documents used in the Ayodhya title case, aiming to preserve them in a museum at the new Ram Mandir complex, as the judgment is final and there are no more challenges.

Mishra said here on Sunday that the Ram Mandir Trust will ask for historical evidence and documents back from the Supreme Court. Based on this evidence, the Supreme Court ruled in favour of the Ram temple. Most of the evidence presented in the Ram temple case was found in the excavation of the Archaeological Department. All the evidence is still safe with the Supreme Court.

Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti President Nripendra Mishra said that Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Trust will write a formal letter to the Supreme Court requesting to hand over the document. Talking to reporters, he said that now there is no one to challenge this decision. There is a plan to preserve all the evidence in the museum being built in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex.

He said that special galleries of topics related to the Ramayana period are also being made in the Ram temple complex. An agreement is being signed with IIT Chennai for gallery construction and presentation. The construction work of the galleries is likely to be completed by March 2026.

Besides, the idol of Hanuman ji located in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex will be displayed through modern technology.

Mishra said that a collection of ancient Ramayana texts from the country and abroad will also be done in the temple premises. Varanasi Sanskrit University is being contacted to keep the ancient copy of Valmiki Ramayana in the sanctum sanctorum. He informed that the devotees who will come to worship Ramlala in the Ram temple will be able to perform darshan and worship in other temples of the premises soon.
