Select Committee on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill 2025 invites public feedback

The Select Committee on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2025, chaired by Member of Parliament Baijayant Panda, has officially invited views and suggestions from experts, industry associations, organizations, and other stakeholders. The initiative was announced through a press release issued by the Lok Sabha Secretariat on Tuesday.

The committee aims to gather diverse perspectives to ensure the proposed amendments to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) are comprehensive, balanced, and effective in addressing current economic and legal challenges.

Interested parties are requested to submit two copies of their memoranda or suggestions in either English or Hindi. These should be sent to the Director of the Select Committee on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (SCIBC) at the Lok Sabha Secretariat, Room No. 439, Parliament House Annexe, New Delhi – 110001. Submissions can also be emailed to scibc-cell@lss.sansad.in.
