Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Saturday that in Bihar, it will not be infiltrators but the people of the state who will form the government and bring the NDA back to power for a developed Bihar.

Addressing a series of public meetings in Seemanchal region’s Katihar, Purnia, and Supaul districts, Shah said the INDIA Alliance, which turns infiltrators into a vote bank, cannot bring prosperity to the state.

“These infiltrators snatch jobs meant for our youth, take a share of the rations meant for the poor, and endanger the security of the nation. Today, I say that we will not only drive out the infiltrators but also demolish all the encroachments they have made and free the land of Seemanchal from their occupation,” Shah said.

He asked the people of Seemanchal, “Tell me, should these infiltrators be removed from here or not?”

“Just recently, Rahul Gandhi and Lalu Yadav’s son went on a ‘Save the Infiltrators Yatra.’ They want Seemanchal to become a stronghold of infiltrators. But I declare today from this land of Seemanchal that we will drive out every single infiltrator from Bihar,” he added.

Shah said that in this election, there are two camps — on one side, a scattered ‘Thagbandhan’ (alliance of tricksters), and on the other, the NDA, united like the five Pandavas.

“Half of Bihar has already voted. In the first phase of polling, the parties of Lalu Yadav and Rahul Gandhi have been wiped out. The NDA is set to form the government in Bihar with more than 160 seats. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar is rapidly moving forward to become a developed state,” he said.

Recalling the lawlessness during the rule of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, Shah said that during that period, MLAs were murdered in broad daylight and looting, murder, extortion, and kidnapping had become industries.

“But now, Nitish Kumar has ended the jungle raj. However, the jungle raj is trying to return in another form. That’s why every single vote of yours will stop the jungle raj from returning,” Shah said.

He also attacked Lalu Prasad Yadav’s RJD, saying, “They have given a ticket in Siwan to Shahabuddin’s son, Osama, and while giving the ticket, Lalu’s son raised the slogan ‘Shahabuddin Amar Rahe’ (Long live Shahabuddin). But there is no place left in the land of Bihar, in the land of Siwan, for any Osama or Shahabuddin.”
