On the solemn occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Vice-President of India, CP Radhakrishnan, and Lok Sabha Speaker, Om Birla, paid floral tributes to the Iron Man of India at the Central Hall of Samvidhaan Sadan. The event, held to commemorate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day), was marked by the presence of several dignitaries including Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, who also paid homage to the stalwart leader.
In a key highlight of the day, Lok Sabha Speaker engaged with over 600 students from across the country participating in the “Know Your Leader” programme organized by PRIDE within the Samvidhaan Sadan.
