On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, as part of a special initiative launched by the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, the tradition of offering sacred offerings and gifts to Lord Shri Vishweshwara Mahadev from various major pilgrimage sites is being continued.
On Wednesday evening, fruits, flowers, and other worship materials for Lord Shri Vishweshwara were reverently sent from Mumbai’s famous Shri Siddhivinayak Temple to the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham.

On the occasion, a delegation from the Shri Siddhivinayak Temple, Mumbai—Dr Sandeep Rathore (Deputy CEO), Dr Madhusudan Shukla (Chairman, Trustee Protocol), Dr Prashant Manerikar (Priest), and Dr Shivam Mishra—ceremonially handed over the sacred offerings to the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust. The Trust ceremonially accepted the offerings.

Dr Sandeep Rathore, Deputy CEO, Shri Siddhivinayak Temple, commended the excellent arrangements, well-organised operations, and service to devotees by the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust and administration. He particularly praised this innovative initiative launched by the Temple Trust on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, saying that it strongly establishes the spiritual essence of the sacred father-son relationship between Lord Shri Ganesha and the Supreme Lord Mahadev.

He said this innovative initiative is a powerful symbol of the spiritual nature of the eternal father-son relationship between Lord Shri Ganesha and Lord Shri Vishweshwara, rooted in the Sanatan tradition. The occasion was deeply emotional and revered for all present.

This initiative further strengthened the religious, cultural, and spiritual unity between Kashi and Shri Siddhivinayak Dham. This event proved to be a sacred medium for devotees to experience devotion, harmony, and the divine essence of Sanatan culture, he added.
