The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) member Sangeeta Arya has tendered her resignation, reportedly in the wake of the paper leak (of 2023) row.
According to official sources, Arya was summoned by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on November 10 earlier this month in connection with a 2023 case of paper leak in the Executive Officer (EO) recruitment exam.
However, she had expressed an inability to appear due to her pre-occupancy and sought time for about 15 days.
Now, she has submitted her papers. Arya is the wife of former Rajasthan Chief Secretary Niranjan Arya. She had once contested the state assembly elections from Sojat in Pali district but could not succeed.
Earlier, about two months back, another RPSC member, Manju Sharma, had also quit in the wake of the paper leak controversy. She is the wife of the AAP leader Vishwas Kumar.
