RPF SI examination 2019: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) Sub Inspector (SI) exam has been postponed and rescheduled for a date yet to be revealed. The Phase 3 of Group C, D category examination was scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 9 January.
It was, however, deferred without any prior notification.
RPF issued a notification stating that “due to representations by candidates, the online exam scheduled on January 9 has been postponed.

The RPF said that the revised schedule will be intimated soon in official website and SMS. Candidates are advised to check the official website and their registered phone numbers for information.
This is not the first time that the RPF examination has been cancelled in Kerala region.
Examination for SI and Constable being held from 5 January to 10 January was cancelled due to unrest in the state.
Computer based test (CBT) group-wise for SI and Constable started on 19 December and 20 December, respectively, in 15 different languages: Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Manipuri and Punjabi.

Around 9739 vacancies will be filled under Railway Protection Force/Railway Protection Special Force.
