Yoga guru Baba Ramdev took to social media to share his heartfelt greetings on the occasion of Shivratri 2025. In his message, he encouraged people across the country to adopt the spiritual values of yoga and Indian culture in their daily lives.
Posting in Hindi, Ramdev wrote a powerful quote, “Tanme Manah Shiv Sankalpamastu.” It means ‘May my mind be filled with divine thoughts like Lord Shiva.’
He said that on this holy day of Shivratri, we should aim to become true followers of yoga and support the use of Swadeshi (locally made) products. He also spoke about the importance of bringing into our lives the eternal values of Shiva, Ram, Krishna, and Hanuman.
Ramdev extends Shivratri wishes:
“तन्मे मनः शिवसंकल्पमस्तु”
इस शिव पर्व पर, शिवरात्रि के पावन अवसर पर,हमें योगव्रती बनकर, स्वदेशीव्रती बनकर,योगतत्त्व को, शिवतत्त्व को, रामतत्त्व को, कृष्णतत्त्व को,हनुमत्तत्त्व को—इन सनातन, शाश्वत सत्यों कोअपने जीवन में आत्मसात् करना है।

According to Ramdev, these are not just religious figures, but symbols of deep spiritual truth and inner strength.
Ramdev urged that we must not step away from the path of yoga, even for a moment. “Shivoham, Shivoham” means ‘I am Shiva, I am divine’. And, it should become a constant feeling in our soul, he said.

If people truly live by this one principle, he believes the country can completely change.
He wrote that if people follow these values, then India will become free from disease, pain, poverty, violence, lies, corruption, and immoral behavior. He added that the country will also be free from impurity, dissatisfaction, addiction, and the negative influences of greed and lust.
According to him, such a transformation will make India full of yoga, spirituality, and divine energy. He calls the country a land filled with peace, truth, and higher consciousness.
He ended his message by sending warm wishes to all Indians for the festival. “Shivratri is not just a celebration,” he implied, “but a chance to turn inwards and awaken the divine within us.”
Shivratri 2025 is celebrated across the country with prayers, fasting, and devotion to Lord Shiva.
