A two-day Joint Commanders Conference is scheduled to begin here on Thursday to discuss organisational planning and other higher priority issues. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will chair the key sessions of the meeting to be held at the Sapta Shakti Command headquarters here. Chief of the Defence Staff and top ranks from the Army, the Navy and the Air Force will attend.
Though the official programme for the Defence Minister’s visit has not yet been released, a post by Singh on his social media X handle states- “Tomorrow, 07th May, I shall be in Bihar to attend the swearing-in ceremony in Patna. Later in the evening, I shall be visiting Rajasthan to attend the Joint Commanders’ Conference to be held in Jaipur. Looking forward”.
The meeting coincides with the first anniversary of the Operation Sindoor. Defence Minister Singh will also attend the related programmes which include the Operation Sindoor JCC meet and a short film on the Operation.
