Rajnath Singh Thanks PM Modi for Birthday Wishes, Praises Govt’s Efforts

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the birthday wishes, saying, “Pradhanmantriji, thank you for your good wishes and motivating words. Under your able leadership, India is growing fast and getting stronger. Your recent 5-nation official visit is a testimony to India’s rising clout and stature.”

Earlier, PM Modi had extended warm birthday greetings to Rajnath Singh, commending his hardworking nature and wisdom. “Best wishes to Union Minister Shri Rajnath Singh Ji on his birthday. He’s distinguished himself for his hardworking nature and wisdom. His efforts to make India self-reliant in defence and strengthen our armed forces are commendable. Praying for his long and healthy life,” PM Modi said in a post on his handle X.

Other leaders, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, also extended their birthday wishes to Rajnath Singh, praising his contributions to national security, defence, and public life

“Heartfelt birthday wishes to the Defence Minister and senior BJP leader Shri @rajnathsingh ji. Under the leadership of Modi ji, you are doing commendable work in continuously strengthening the country’s military power and promoting self-reliance in the field of defence,” Amit Shah wished in a post on handle X.

Rajnath Singh has been a prominent figure in Indian politics for over five decades, serving as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, as Union Minister of Surface Transport and Union Minister of Agriculture in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s cabinet at the Centre. He was sworn in as Union Minister of Home Affairs in the Narendra Modi government in 2014, and in 2019, he was made the Defence Minister in the ongoing Modi government. He has played a key role in shaping the country’s defence policies and strengthening its armed forces.
