A state-of-the-art new e-bus factory involving an investment of Rs 1200 crore will soon be built in Rajasthan, ushering in the era of e-bus manufacturing in the state.
The mega new-age project will be established in Ghiloth Industrial Area of Behror-Neemrana towns along the Delhi-Jaipur Highway on a 65-acre plot of land allotted by Rajasthan Industries and Investment Corporation (RIICO) to PMI Electro—Mobility Solutions Private Limited.
Since e-bus manufacturing is the new and first-of-its-kind activity, buses to be manufactured in the unit will usher in an era of a no-emission transport system in the state, a CMO spokesman said here on Tuesday.
The new age buses to be rolled out from this factory will not only help in the early launch of e-bus service in the state, but they will also provide the electric vehicles for launch or expansion of the service in other states of the country, the spokesman said.
A delegation of the PMI Electro-Mobility Solutions Private Limited, comprising the company Managing Director Satish Kumar Jain, CEO Anchal Jain, and Executive Director Gajendra Yadav, has called on Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma to greet him on Diwali and share with him the project brief and their prospective programme.
The bus manufacturing plant will not just provide employment to thousands of youths, but will also address the pollution and the clean (green) energy encouragement related concerns of the state, the company officials assured the Chief Minister.
