In compliance with directives from the Home Ministry, the Raj Bhavan of Rajasthan has been rechristened as “Lok Bhavan”.

This approach is befitting for the largest democracy in the world, which India is.

The Home Ministry has written to all state governments for the implementation of the decision, vide its letter of November 25, 2025.

Many states, including Uttarakhand, Tripura, West Bengal, Kerala and Tamil Nadu have already complied with the Home Ministry’s order.
