Rajasthan has been adjudged “Top Achiever’ for excellence in attaining targets under the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) of the Government of India’s Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal released the BRAP Rankings 2024 at a national event in New Delhi on Tuesday, which was attended by the Ministers for Commerce and Industry and senior officials from all the states.

Union Minister Goyal awarded Rajasthan the title of ‘Top Achiever’ for its outstanding performance in four key business-centric reform areas — Business Entry, Labour Regulation Enablers, Environmental Registration, and the Services Sector, an official spokesman said here.

The award was received by State Industry Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore and Industry Commissioner Rohit Gupta at a public event.

This recognition reaffirms Rajasthan’s strong commitment to reform-driven governance and highlights its continued leadership in advancing the Ease of Doing Business in India, the spokesman said.

During the event, a short film showcasing Rajasthan’s achievements in Ease of Doing Business and business-related reforms was screened, highlighting the state’s reform-driven governance and proactive policy initiatives.

A booklet on the Business Reforms Action Plan 2026 was also launched at the event, he said.

The DPIIT launched the award and the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) 2024 under the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) initiative.
