Rajasthan: 5 students killed in accident in Dausa

Five youths, including three young girls, were killed when their car collided with a truck trailer near Kailai village in the Secandra block of Dausa district on Saturday.

The group of five students was returning to their native village after appearing in an examination here in the state capital when their car collided with the trailer near Kailai on the National Highway No 21 (Jaipur – Agra), police sources said.

While three occupants of the car died on the spot, three others were seriously injured. They were rushed to the Dausa District Hospital, from where they were referred to the SMS Hospital here, after first aid in Dausa.

At SMS Hospital here, the injured were declared dead after a brief treatment, the sources said.

Following the accident, the traffic on the busy Jaipur – Agra Highway was also disrupted for some time.
