In a bizarre incident, a 13-year-old minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and subjected to sexual exploitation and rape for several days at various hotels in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar.
According to reports, authorities in Sri Ganganagar recently demolished four hotels. These properties were allegedly used by accused persons. The action was taken as public anger continued to mount over the shocking case.
The district administration along with police carried out the demolition work, with bulldozers razing the hotels linked to the alleged crime.
As per multiple reports, the minor girl went missing from her home on June 18. Later on, she was allegedly sold to a hotel owner by a rickshaw puller. Officials investigating the case have revealed that she was then raped by more than 30 men over a period of five days at multiple hotels in the area.
The FIR in the matter mentions the names of several hotel owners as well as operators involved in exploiting the minor child. Also, it is being said that the accused made all possible efforts to supress the crime.
The survivor told police that they forced her to consume alcohol whenever she experienced pain from the repeated assaults.
As of now, police have taken at least a dozen people into custody, while efforts are being made to identify and apprehend the remaining suspects.
