Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has launched a statewide mega campaign under which camps will be organised at village, panchayat and urban ward levels to shape the development of their respective areas.
The CM launched the campaign through video conferencing from the state secretariat in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Dr Prem Chand Bairwa, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Joga Ram Patel, Chief Secretary V Srinivas, and other senior officials.
Officials and people’s representatives joined the programme online from their respective districts, villages, and urban wards.
Addressing the participants, Sharma said an expanded development roadmap would be worked out at the local level for every village, panchayat, and ward. This would cover needs and viability of initiatives in respect of different components of development like local resources, crops, vegetation, environment, and industry as per the local need,” he said.
He said planning would also ensure that the benefits of every initiative reach the last person in every village or ward.
The CM also launched a website dedicated to the campaign.
