Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi for commercial air connectivity to Rajasthan’s Kota. He said over 1.5 lakh students from across India come to Kota to study in the coaching centres, and the city must have proper air connectivity.

“Kota will benefit immensely, from improved air linkages to the major metropolitan cities of India considering it’s strategic location in the tourist map along with its strong industrial base and its local craft,” he wrote in his letter to the PM.
