Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the national capital.
The meeting was confirmed by the President’s Office, which shared photographs of the interaction on social media platform X. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan,” the post said.

Earlier today, PM Modi had commended the release of the Constitution of India in the Santhali language by President Murmu. In a social media post, PM Modi said that this will help deepen constitutional awareness and democratic participation. The Prime Minister noted that the country is very proud of the Santhali culture and the contribution of the Santhali people to national progress.
The President had also conferred the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar on children for their exceptional achievements in the fields of Bravery, Social Service, Environment, Sports, Art & Culture and Science & Technology at a ceremony held in New Delhi on 26 December.
