Security has been intensified amid high alert along the route of “Govardhan Parikrama” in Rajasthan’s Deeg district ahead of President Droupadi Murmu’s scheduled visit to “Poonchhari Ka Lautha” on Saturday.

President Murmu will perform the Govardhan Parikrama in a golf cart around 10 am on Saturday and offer prayers at Poonchhari Ka Lautha and Srinathji shrine along the route.
Adequate security arrangements have been made along the Parikrama route, with 400 police personnel deployed.
Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedam has reached Deeg to receive the President.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma is also likely to visit Deeg to welcome the President.
