Preparations afoot for Ram Mandir flag hoisting ceremony on Nov 25

With just a fortnight left for the Shri Ram Mandir flag hoisting ceremony on November 25, the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is making last-minute arrangements to make the religious function a grand one.

According to the Trust officials, the auspicious time for the Ram Mandir flag hoisting ceremony is just only half an hour. The auspicious time for hoisting the flag is from 12 noon to 12:30 pm on November 25.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the flag at the Shri Ram Temple as well as other temples in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple complex. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with other dignitaries will be present on the occasion.

Though the official protocol for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival in Ayodhya has not yet been released, but an official associated with the Ram Mandir management stated that on November 25, the Prime Minister will arrive at the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya at 10:15 am and depart for Delhi from Ayodhya at 1:45 pm.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will stay in Ayodhya for more than three hours.

Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Shri Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti, is in Ayodhya to assess the current status of the temple construction and preparation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ayodhya and the Ram Mandir flag hoisting ceremony.

Speaking to reporters at the Circuit House on Monday, he stated that PM Modi will inspect the Ram Mandir complex and visit the statues of the Ram family installed on the first floor. A detailed program will be submitted to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

He stated that special attention is being paid to beautification, tree planting, and architectural work within the Ram Mandir complex. Parivartan, a partner organization of IIT Chennai, has been entrusted with the construction of the Shri Ram Katha Museum. This agreement, costing approximately ₹50 crore, is in the final stages.

Regarding the Ram Mandir flag hoisting ceremony, it was stated that the flag hoisting ceremony will be held on all seven peaks of the Ram Mandir on November 25. Experts from the Ministry of Defense are being enlisted to ensure that there are no technical difficulties. He stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the saffron nylon flag with the “Om” symbol inscribed on it.

The pujan (worship) ceremony for the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple flag hoisting ceremony will begin on November 21, and the main flag hoisting ceremony will take place on November 25. Prior to this, pujan (worship) will commence on the 21 in all temples within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple complex.

The Trust has finalized the names of the respective hosts for the pujan (worship) for each temple and has notified them by phone. All hosts are householders, including Dr. Anil Mishra, a member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra and Trustee Radha Mohan. All hosts will reside within the Shri Ram Temple complex or in the building designated by the Trust from November 21 to 25.
