A special team of the police on Monday busted two modules of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit and arrested 10 terrorists. A huge quantity of grenades, gelatine sticks, detonators and material for making Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) has been recovered from their possession, a police officer said.

These modules have been cracked in Tral and Awantipura areas of South Kashmir.

In view of the surge in terror attacks in Tral in which civilians and security forces were targeted, creating an atmosphere of panic and fear, a special team was constituted to investigate these cases and on the basis of material evidence collected, four persons identified as Younis Nabi Naik of Pinglish, Fayaz Ahmad Wani of Reshipora, Riyaz Ahmad Ganaie of Nigeenpora and Bilal Ahmad Rather of Hafoo Nigeenpora were taken into custody.
