Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit his Parliamentary Constituency of Varanasi on 22 and 23 September to launch a slew of development projects, officials said on Thursday.
The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation, the Deendayal Hastkala Sankul – a trade facilitation centre for handicrafts – at Bada Lalpur and then flag off the Mahamana Express– connecting Varanasi with Surat and Vadodara in Gujarat– through a video link.
He will then inaugurate banking services of the Utkarsh Bank, which specializes in micro-finance and dedicate a Jal Ambulance service, and a Jal Shav Vahan (hearse van) service via video link.
On the evening of 22 September, the PM will visit the historic Tulsi Manas Temple in Varanasi and release a postal stamp on “Ramayana”.
The next day, Modi will briefly participate in a sanitation related activity in the village of Shahanshahpur followed by a visit to the Pashudhan Arogya Mela.
The PM will distribute certificates to beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and will address the gathering.
