PM Modi wishes Health Minister Nadda on his birthday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday wished Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda on his birthday and wished for his “long and healthy life.”

“Birthday greetings to my Cabinet colleague Shri @JPNadda. I pray for his long and healthy life,” tweeted Modi.

Born Dec 2, 1960, Nadda has his roots in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was inducted into the union cabinet by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in November 2014.

The former environment, health and law minister from Himachal Pradesh, did his graduation from Patna in Bihar and holds a post-graduate degree in political science and LL.B. from Himachal Pradesh University in Shimla.

Nadda starting his political career as a student leader of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the students wing of the RSS in 1978 and is considered to be a close confidant of PM Modi.
