Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Kerala once again, with reports indicating that he will arrive in Kochi on March 6.

During the visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to release the NDA manifesto for the upcoming Assembly elections. He is also expected to meet religious and community leaders as part of his outreach programme.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is planning to officially launch its Assembly election campaign in the state with Modi’s visit, signalling the start of an intensified campaign push.

Earlier, the Prime Minister had visited Thiruvananthapuram on January 23. At the time, the BJP had promised that Modi would return to the state capital within 45 days of the party coming to power in the city corporation to announce special development projects for the city.

The March 6 visit is being viewed as politically significant, as the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) seeks to strengthen its position in Kerala ahead of the Assembly polls.
