PM Modi to launch Rs 1 lakh cr RDI Scheme at ESTIC 2025

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Emerging Science & Technology Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on November 3, marking a major milestone for India’s science and technology ecosystem, a release from his office said on Sunday.

The conclave, scheduled from November 3-5, will bring together over 3,000 participants, including Nobel Laureates, eminent scientists, and policymakers, to deliberate on 11 key thematic areas.

During the inauguration, PM Modi is set to launch the Rs 1 Lakh Crore Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) Scheme Fund, aimed at fostering a private sector-driven research and development ecosystem in India.

The initiative is expected to provide a significant boost to the country’s R&D capabilities and innovation landscape.

ESTIC 2025 will feature talks, panel discussions, presentations, and technology showcases, offering a platform for collaboration among researchers, industry leaders, and young innovators.

The conclave will cover thematic areas such as Advanced Materials & Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, Bio-Manufacturing, and Health & Medical Technologies, among others.

The event is expected to strengthen India’s science and technology ecosystem, encouraging innovation and growth.

Highlighting India’s rising global leadership in science and technology, PM Modi has emphasized that ESTIC 2025 will play a pivotal role in shaping the country’s future.
