PM Modi meets senior ministers ahead of monsoon session

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday held a meeting with senior Union ministers, including Amit Shah, JP Nadda, and Rajnath Singh, at Parliament House.

According to sources, floor strategies for the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament were discussed during the meeting.

On the occasion, the prime minister was apprised about the discussions in the Business Advisory Committee and Opposition demands.

The Opposition has been insisting on PM Modi making a statement in the House on “Operation Sindoor”.

Earlier in the day, addressing media persons ahead of the Monsoon Session, the prime minister described the session as a “celebration of victory”, highlighting India’s military prowess and developmental accomplishments.

He also lauded the success of Operation Sindoor, India’s precision airstrikes on terror camps in Pakistan following the deadly Pahalgam terror attack.

Moreover, the Opposition, led by Congress and INDIA bloc parties, identified eight key issues for the session, including the Pahalgam terror attack.
