PM Modi interacts with NCC cadets, NSS volunteers

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets, National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers and tableaux artists at Teen Murti Bhavan in Delhi on Saturday.

While addressing the volunteers and cadets, PM Modi said, “Our nation is so diverse and there is so much to learn from one another” and further added that it is important to embrace changes happening around us but blind faith is not proper.

The Prime Minister also said, the youth of India can bring changes in the nation.

PM Modi while urging the youth to learn more about our armed forces, said that we are immensely proud of our armed forces. In that spirit, we should seek to know more about the brave individuals who are serving the nation.

There are several police personnel who have given their lives for our nation, it is important to know about their sacrifices, said PM Modi.

The PM called upon the youngsters to become active participants of cleanliness drive and help the country become free from dirt and filth when we mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The Prime Minister stated that it is our duty to fulfil Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of a Swachh Bharat.

PM Modi also said that India was fortunate to host leaders from 10 nations as the guests of honour this year for the Republic Day celebrations.
