Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted Himachal Pradesh on its foundation day and hoped that the state attains new heights of progress in the years to come.
In a tweet in Hindi, Modi said: “On the foundation day of Himachal Pradesh, I congratulate the denizens of the state. I wish for the overall development of the state,” he said.
The state of Himachal Pradesh came into being on January 25, 1971 after an Act was passed by Parliament on 18 December 1970.
