BJP has 15 chief ministers and seven deputy chief ministers including two in UP and one each in Gujarat, Bihar, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah and 15 chief ministers from the party will attend a meeting in Delhi on Tuesday as the party gears up for the Lok Sabha polls, which are scheduled to take place in 2019.
BJP’s Deputy Chief Ministers from various states will also attend the crucial meet.
BJP sources said the conference of chief ministers, in which the top brass takes stock of works going on in states ruled by the party and issues them directions, has assumed added significance due to the upcoming assembly elections in three states and the Lok Sabha polls, and these would be likely discussed in the day-long meeting.

Assembly polls are due in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, all ruled by the BJP, later this year.
The agenda of good governance and running pro-poor policies has been a key feature of the chief ministers’ meetings, which have been taking place regularly since Narendra Modi took over as prime minister in 2014.

In Bihar the BJP is part of the coalition government led by Janata Dal-United while in Nagaland, it is part of NDPP’s Neiphiu Rio-led People’s Democratic Alliance.
“Apart from a general strategy, discussions regarding the implementation of various Central schemes and preparedness for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls are likely to come up during the meeting,” a BJP leader told IANS.
Shah will deliver the inaugural speech while the Prime Minister will address the valedictory session.
